Long before I started writing, I was a reader. I loved the worlds that books could take me to. I read while I walked, read while I was supposed to be doing homework and got ridiculously happy about having to stay inside due to bad weather. One of my favorite places to read was the hay loft of our barn. Add the sound of rain pattering off the tin roof and I was in heaven. Here are some of my favorite books.

1. The Secret Garden - By far my all time favorite book, both as a child and as an adult.

Favorite series...
1. Category Romance -The American Series by Janet Dailey. She was the first romance writer I discovered and her books inspired me to become a writer.
2. Historical Romances - I love them all, but my most read ones are the Robin Hood Trilogy by Marsha Canham
3. Contemporary Romance - The first big series I got hooked on was Texas! Tyler Family Saga, by Sandra Brown. Especially Chase's story. That one ripped my heart out!
4. Inspirational Romances - Texas Twins - A collaboration of 6 great Inspirational authors to form a beautiful story of faith, hope and family.
